Insurance Management Consultants, Inc. (IMCI) is an agency that specializes in professional liability insurance for design professionals and CPAs.  Our clients rely on us to reduce their exposure to loss by identifying adequate coverage with carriers that are committed to their protection, and by providing programs and services that target continual improvement in their key business operations.  Our insurance expertise and our commitment to helping our clients manage their risks are evident in every aspect of our business.

The proof of our success is seen in the more than 700 A&E clients we serve in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.  Our clients range from one person design firms to large national multi-office firms.  All enjoy the same high level of service.

History
IMCI was founded in August, 1993 by Hap Todd providing specialized insurance products and customized risk management services for design professionals and CPAs.  In January of 1994 Hap’s older son, Jeff, joined the agency as a Producer.  Since the agency’s inception it has grown substantially through our spirit of entrepreneurship, grounded on solid values.  The company serves over 700 clients in four states with a staff of six producers and three support staff.

In January 2005, Jeff Todd became the President of IMCI in order to take the company into its next phase of growth and to firmly position IMCI as the premier agency for design professionals.
